v0.49 - Home Island Expansion!
v0.49 is released
The Home Island has been expanded with new areas to explore. It is now the main hub for several things - research, pet feeding, character customization and journals!
A tutorial and new NPC, Kat, has been added to guide you as you explore the new home island.
Workshop - conduct research
Library - read your collected journal logs
Portal - level selection
Wardrobe - Customize your character, accessories and traits here!
Bridge Smith- Customize your bridge style here (new styles coming soon)
That is not all. I am working hard on "Land Plots" where you can build your own home. Here's a preview of a home I built on the home island.
This update is significant and may have bugs. If you explore the home island and encounter bugs, do let me know. The current main menu is still accessible but will eventually be phased out.

Does building a house take resources
Yup - leftover wood at the end of a run convert into Planks, a permanent resource for home building. Iron turns into Alloys. These currencies are purely for home building, separate from research tree so they do not conflict.
