v0.30 - Quark bonus list and... planes?


v0.30 is released~

After getting quark bonuses, I was always confused what bonus I had previously picked, and since the bonus options don't always appear, it's difficult to see what bonuses you own, and to what level. Thus, this update adds a new UI that shows all your acquired bonuses.


The scientist bonus also conflicts with the 'scientist' profession, so it has been renamed to Theorist.

A new bonus 'Aviation' has been added. It boosts Plane Speed. Planes don't exist in the game yet, but I'd like to share a sneak peek!


Introducing...PLANES


Or more like funky helicopters. Helicopters kinda look cooler and seem to fit size-wise. You also notice that this is on a completely new map, the 'Sky' biome. It introduces a set of new buildings: Hangars, Control Towers and Radars.


Up in the clouds, you can't use cranes to pick iron. They'll take forever! Certain farms may not work at this altitude too! Instead, you build radars to detect resource islands, and send your settlers into helicopters out on expeditions and they come back with supplies.

If you train some settlers into pilots, they'll be more efficient!

At this height above the clouds, it seems the lightning storm is way below you. It seems you're safe from the storm...or are you? What kind of dangerous weather might be lurking up here?
