v0.23 - New clothing + improvements


v0.23 is released!

I spent at least two hours playing my game yesterday from start to end.

I generated ideas for new buildings:

  1. There could be buildings to push the storm backward, or to make the storm weaker (eg less lightning strikes). The storm currently scales up really quickly after the 7th storm.
  2. I will make pets more expensive as they are pretty easy to get and being permanent they should be a little costlier.
  3. Defense tab should be locked by default. It is quite late game and showing it early misleads people to prioritize it over survival.

Quality of Life:

I have developed nested tooltips - you can how hover over building buttons AND the items they require, allowing you to see information about the items required to build that building.


I didn't design the game to have nested tooltips so this was a technical breakthrough and I am very happy for being able to make it happen! I hope this makes new players less confused about sand as they struggled to figure out how to get that 'sand' resource. It being only available from cards is only mentioned in the tooltip.

Orange character clothing added:


I added orange because the game will now have all the spectrum of rainbow colours! Yeah!!

In my playthrough, I found and solved many issues. The game will have less bugs and be more stable now.
