v0.28 - Export save, Quality of Life/UI improvements
Hi all, v0.28 is released!
Savefile Import/Export
You will now be able to export your savefile from web and resume your progress on desktop or anywhere! However, this is a one-way transfer - you cannot transfer from desktop to web.
So for those of you who have tried the game on web, and decided to switch to the desktop, you can now do so!
The game receives updates almost daily, and your progress will never be lost when upgrading to a new version. It will also be able to be continued on the full version when it releases on Steam.
New Equipment Tier Order
Previously, T1 equipment were strongest, whereas Tier 4 weakest. This was quite unintuitive, so I have reversed it.
This will also open up new doors for a skill in future that can increase the maximum equipment tier and the chance of higher tiers.
Within the same rarity, equipment tier drop rates are distributed as follows currently:
- Tier 1: 55% (weakest)
- Tier 2: 25%
- Tier 3: 15%
- Tier 4: 5% (strongest)
UI improvements + Quality of Life
Several quality of life and UI improvements have been added, such as showing Potion distribution rates with the skill UI.
I also tried to eliminate some confusion on where buffs appear by showing it in the skill UI for buff abilities too.

Your game progress continues on to the Steam version. A demo will be released on 12 Sept 2025 which I will make a new post announcement on!

Full changelog:

- Shadow seeker is now not downgrade-able
Fix offline progress greatly inflated SP gain
- Fix able to reload saves for infinite SP
UI and QoL:
- Equip tiers reversed (T1 is now weakest, T4 is strongest)
- Add jetpack distance to jetpack skill description and distance text tooltip
- Display potion rates when Seahorse Elixir Skill selected
- Skill buttons now turn green if sufficient SP
- Skill panels now close when diving underwater
- Add left/right mouse shortcut keys to Multi-buy button
- Fishing UI now scales correctly with UI scale setting
- Essence skill "max summons" renamed to "max sentinel summons"
Fixes:
- Fix using SHIFT to upgrade not deducting SP cost correctly
- Fix able to get infinite SP by downgrading skills
- Optimize performance when global illumination enabled
- Add confirmation before visiting dream island
- Remove Sky & Clouds setting
- Remove ascension metadata
