Siegeturtle Roadmap - Fishing, Ascension & more!


Hi all!

I wanted to share some of the features I am working on for Siegeturtle!

Here is the current history:

  • v0.12 - Equipment System and Sentinels
  • v0.13 - Boss Dungeon Lv 4, 5, 6
  • v0.14 - UI revamp + Tutorial + rebalancing
  • v0.15 - Attribute Enhancers for AGI and LUK, New extra hit% stat
  • v0.16 - 7 New skills & Companions (Hibernator, Darkness Boost)
  • v0.17 - Potions

And the release plan:

  • v0.18 - Shadow Seeker Skill
  • v0.19 - Milestones, New upgrade VFX
  • v0.20 - Fishing
  • v0.21 - Pearls
  • v0.22 - Treasure Hunter and Companion Synergy skills
  • v0.23 - Turtle skins, accessories, customization
  • v0.24 - Ascension Alpha

Without further ado, onto the epic and exciting roadmap!

Fishing!

Dive underwater to grab fishes!



Upgrade your rod, bait, bag - fish you catch can be sold for Gold, Skill Points, or even rare Pearls!


Pearls!

Pearls from fishing can then be used to upgrade your turtle's stats. You can also boost gold gain which then can be used to boost fishing to get more Pearls, rinse and repeat!

Future ideas:

Owning certain fish could give set effects? E.g. 3 Red Fish +30% HP

Mining

If fishing is well received, more side mechanics such as mining can be added. Ores can then be mined to enchant your gear with additional effects and stat lines.

You may also get artifacts that grant bonuses when held in the inventory and combined to give higher tier stats.


Milestone Rewards!

As you progress through the game and gain achievements, you can claim skill point rewards or boost turtle stats depending on which milestone you achieve!


Ascension!

When the time is right, you get to ascend and gain all new permanent powerful bonuses.


Ascension resets your distance and stats to 0m, but ascension abilities themselves never reset and stay for all future ascensions.

Some abilities make future ascensions easier, such as 'Wisdom', which gives you 100 Starting Skill Points at level 1, and permanent +10% Skill Point gain.


New Skills & Companions


More skills will be added that will synergize with companions. Here are some examples of my brainstorming:

Treasure Hunter

0.1% chance of a treasure chest appearing, giving 50x monster gold

Scavenger

0.5% chance to drop five coins instead of one.

Companion Power, Stronger Together (DMG and HP versions available)

Lv 200: Every companion +200% final damage, up to 10 companions (Currently giving: 21x dmg)


Turtle customization, skins, accessories


I think it would be cool if you could have a pink turtle. Maybe the cannon could be customizable too!


Potion Tiers/Upgrades

Perhaps the ability to upgrade your potion tier. Currently potion tiers increase automatically as you progress in distance.



More Equipment Tiers

Lastly, perhaps you could enchant your equipment slots, or have new tiers of equipment beyond Legendary.
