v0.25 - New buildings, researches, QoL


v0.25 has been released with new content and several quality of life changes. Thanks to players who have offered your feedback on discord!

You can now colour your ground lights!

New late game buildings have been added!

And a new sushi fountain which introduces a bit of a new mechanic!


New research have been added too!


The character information panel has been updated.

And tons of other changes and improvements have been made! Here is the changelog:

Features:

  • - Added new building 'Sushi Fountain'
  • - Added the Aquafarm and 3 new underwater buildings
  • - Added Dried Seaweed, Sushi
  • - Added 4 new late game researches
  • - Building Priorities now work as intended
  • - Building Priorities now save when exitting and only shows unlocked buildings
  • - Added Save to Cloud button in settings panel
  • - Can now change color of light cubes due to climate change inviting rainbow fireflies

QoL:

  • - Added new button to Rotate building in place
  • - When moving buildings, it should now remember the rotation
  • - 'New' tag appears over newly unlocked buildings
  • - Tall buildings blocking the player will turn transparent (High Quality mode only)
  • - Appearance of resources carried by settlers have been changed for some objects
  • - Main character hunger/thirst depletion rate slowed by 50% (forgot to apply this previously)
  • - Thanks to your engineers, night lights turn on earlier and turn off later to combat darkness

Balancing:

  • - Fruit Punch/Alcohol thirst restored increased (15 -> 20)
  • - Making biscuits produces two at once now (1 -> 2)
  • - First 5 settlers start with 30% happiness instead of 20
  • - Alcohol craft duration halved (40s -> 20s)
  • - Bot Upgrade II now improves bot speed by 50% (instead of 20%)

Misc:

  • - Added error message at game start if savefile fails to fully load properly
  • - Light cube renamed to 'Ground Light'
  • - Inventory now shows 8 slots per row (previously 6)
